Thank goodness. Not sure why that weird teal color was selected in the first place. And that was before we got the Hornets.

Update:

Just passed the SK Center on the way home from work. They were spraying what appeared to be some sort of yellowish base on a large portion of the interstate side of the building.

The article said they were probably going to do large swatches to choose the color, so you may be seeing several colors go up on there initially.

Update: Large sample tiles are up on the side of the arena. From the interstate, there appear to be four sample colors, each a different shade of grey.

I think the arena needs an interior change of colour aswell.. never been inside the arena, but from seeing the arena on T.V i think it deserves one.

Yeah agree with the staircase. Long over due. Also, at dusk the lighter color looked best. Only thing is it very similar to the roof.

The staircase just replaces the one they tore down (that was near the outdoor ticket window and the old buzz fest area). The new stair case is actually on the Superdome side of Girod outside the exit to the parking garage.

Those colors have now changed to be only the white on the left side of the assortment and what looks to be the grey on the far right. I have a direct view from my office.
