Can't hurt, that's for sure. Would like to call up some other no name bigs and give them some PT in the pros... I'm sick of Steamer
I hadn't heard about this. but ok. We're down too many players, we need someone to help lighten the load off the other guys. At this point, we don't need guys to come in and shoot lights out and all. We just need warm bodies. Someone to soak up minutes. Plus it's cool letting someone else have a shot. You never know. This kid might shine and get a 2nd chance. I'm all for it.
I read his draft report. He's basically the anti-Aminu. He is good at everything Aminu is bad at and bad at everything Aminu is good at. I don't know how much he was able to develop in the D League but it's clear Miller isn't the answer. If he can give us the same shooting but slightly better rebounding, he might have a backup spot next year. Will be interesting to see.
Based on the little I saw of him he seemed like a player who could possibly fit into a Spurs type of offense as a shooter/role player who could potentially flourish given the right coaching and development.
R.I.P. to HunnyB/FlyGirl
If he can play a Khris Middleton role for us I'm good . Let's see if he can get some significant minutes !
"I go so hard, I go so mean... I'm so NEW ORLEANS" - Lil' Wayne"We not stopping at no stores man ! We staying on the gas !" - Tyreke Evans
I like it. I was hoping we would have drafted him so let's kick the tires.
I hope he never goes against Harry Kenshiroland.
Apparently - 'He managed a PER of -40.6 in his highly uneventful three minutes with the Bobcats'.
dang... 4 of our starting 5 will end the season injured. That's crazy.
He could turn into decent role player.
His comparison is Donté Greene (http://www.nbadraft.net/players/james-southerland ).
NBA Donté > Aminu.
He was a role player at college too ( http://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/...herland-1.html ).
Let see how he plays the last games of these season.

He was actually pretty decent in his last year with Syracuse. He can stretch the floor at least.
Lets see how the guy performs.
As long as Holiday, Evans, Morrow, Davis, Anderson, Smith & Rivers are on this team next season I don't care who is added next season.
Gosh, have you ever seen greene play? Greene was more like julian wright than anything else, there is a reason he was stashed in the d-league his fourth season in the nba and now plays in the forever-sucking chinese league (or maybe the wondrous puerto rican league now) man.
Well, at least Aminu never got injured. Thats worth more than all our other guys combined. Doesn't matter how much talent you have if you're out game 10.
