Thread: NBA Trade Deadline Rumor Mill

I'm much more happy with demps for making no moves. Rather than making a move just for the sake of making a trade.

Have until March 10 or 15 I think. However, with all 15 roster spots taken and not really in the hunt for the playoffs, I do not see us using it.

Whats funny is... the same people whining that we didn't make a deal are the same ones that would be ******** and moaning if Dell didn't make the trade that THEY wanted him to make lol.

Its impossible to please some folks.

I'm ok with making no deal instead of a bad one.

Would of been nice to pull out a miracle and get rid of Gordon or acquire some assets that fit needs but moves for moves sake are signs of bad GM'ing IMO.

Where are all these trades Dell is missing out on? No one in the NBA wants to do much of anything right now it seems. "Staying pat" is the game in the NBA at this deadline.

    Lol in response to Fletch

...Not sure what this statement even means. Unless you're referring to people who just wanted to trade for no reason, of course people are disappointed that we seemingly didn't improve our team through a trade, and of course people would have been annoyed if we somehow, in their opinions, made it worse through a trade.

It's not like you're pointing out some great insight into Pels' fandom here. Pretty sure everybody is like this.

I think we may be stuck with that contract until his final year when it becomes an "expiring".

Here's the thing... apparently the guy (Dell) was trying to do SOMETHING, but like you said... he didn't make a trade for "no reason". Whatever he wanted to trade for, or what he was trying to trade... wasn't worth enough to execute the trade(s).

1 in the hand versus two in the bush.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

The "what's funny is..." part threw me. Seemed like you meant only a few are like that, but I'm pretty sure most fans are. Seems like common sense that people would be disappointed either way, but whatever. Off topic.
