Thread: Rivers on way out/Jackson on way in?

Rumor Rivers on way out/Jackson on way in?

The #Pelicans, sources say, trying to move Austin Rivers, will add D-League sensation Pierre Jackson. I am told #Wizards among interested.

This makes more sense than trading them both, although It'll still suck moving Rivers and not Roberts I understand this.

I wonder if they can take Roberts with them?

    Kevin Seraphin maybe?

Jackson has resulted in quite a few calls to #Pelicans, but GMs I've spoken to worry about his size (5-8). Especially since he's not true PG

I read the tweet as - Will add" Pierre Jackson means that they will add him to the deal to sweeten it.

I thought that was odd considering the other source that says we are looking to move both, but thought this was contradicting that.

My bad if I got it wrong. Could be taken both ways I suppose. We'll see.

i'm assuming people list him as his height in shoes when they want to use it as an asset and without shoes when they want to use it as something negative.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Think we could see the return of Ariza? I've noticed that Monty likes to form his opinion of players based on when we've played them and Ariza suddenly turned into T-Mac from deep on us.

Don't know much about him even though I'm french xD !
If Dell makes this trade happened we could have 2 french players defending the paint !

is Otto Porter too ambitious? Wizards all the sudden became extremely deep & tied up financially at the SF position

God why can't we get rid of roberts?

Rivers, Aminu, Pierre for Ariza in a S&T? I'd do it but I'd want Ariza to sign a contract so he can't walk at the end of the year. That's giving up too much if he won't sign. I think that's giving them really good value for Ariza. Really helps out their back court.

A somewhat realistic pipedream would be this & Jordan Hill and somehow dumping Greg in the process. That'd be a great deadline IMO even tho i love Austin
