First off we have the freshman out of Texas. Kevin Durant 6' 10" 215 SF

Strengths: A dynamic wing player with freakish length and agility and a scorers mentality ... Has the ability to essentially score at will on the college level … A special player offensively, who has fully developed post skills to go along with an NBA-range jumper … His ability to pull up off the dribble is absolutely illegal for a 6-10 player

Weaknesses: Hasn't been fully tested in terms of competition. Does he have the fire inside to maximize his abilities and develop a killer instinct? He has a laid back demeanor; will he continue to work hard after he starts cashing 7 figure checks? … Defensively, he's very lax.

    Greg Oden 7' 257 C

Strengths: One of those dominant centers that surfaces in the high school ranks every 10 or so years Has the size and NBA ready body that few his age possess Great athlete who runs the court with ease and excellent leaping ability Gets great position in the post and most importantly gets his body wide to give guards a good target to pass into Wherever the ball goes, Oden works the lane constantly working to get open

Weaknesses: Offensively Oden isnt very polished with his back to the basket Nor does he possess a big assortment of moves Needs to expand his shooting range, as of right now Oden is very uncomfortable facing the basket Has struggled when playing against strong aggressive players

    Al Horford 6' 10" 244 PF

Strengths: Runs extremely well, able to beat most forwards down the court Is blessed with an NBA ready body and good strength Defensively Horford is a very strong post defender able to use his body strength to disrupt opposing players from setting up Solid shot blocker thanks to his timing and great anticipation skills

Weaknesses: Offensively, Horford lacks consistent shooting from mid-range and the perimeter Defensively Horford tends to get into foul trouble at times due to his aggressiveness Although his back to the basket skills are greatly improved

    Joakim Noah 6' 11" 240 PF

Strengths: Extremely long, fluid/mobile player who runs the court like a guard For his size, Noahs is a surprisingly solid ball handler This becomes evident when he gets the ball in the high post and dribbles past his man for a lay-up High energy player who plays games with great passion and intensity

Weaknesses: Upper body strength needs to improve which would benefit him in several ways. But it should be noted that his body type (narrow shoulders) suggests that he will never have much bulk ... Despite being a solid shot blocker, he bites on pump fakes far too easy and lacks timing

    Mike Conley, Jr. 6' 1" 175 PG

Strengths: An ultra-quick lefty point guard with a solid feel for running a team His ability to get by opposing guards and into the paint is on the elite level Very cerebral, shows excellent decision making ability, especially considering his age His near 3/1 assist to turnover ratio is outstanding for a freshman pg

Weaknesses: The biggest knock against him is his age and level of experience entering the league at the point guard position. Many feel the development at the point guard position is much more difficult at the NBA level than in college. Entering the NBA after just one season in college has proven to be particularly difficult for point guard

    Marc Gasol 7' 270 C

Strengths: Physically Gasol has great upper body strength Like his brother has a great set of soft hands ... Does a great job of establishing himself in the post Fundamentally he is as sound as they come in the post Displays a rare combination of power and soft shooting

Weaknesses: Unlike Pau, Marc is a below average athlete ... Heavy legged player who will need to improve his foot speed to play in the NBA Lacks fluidity in his movements as he is a bit mechanical Must continue to work on conditioning his body as he appears to be carrying a little extra weight

    You rang ?

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"
