UNO welcomes Ron Maestri back

Anybody remember the last time this Maestri coached UNO baseball? 1985. I'm really hoping he can bring the program back in all sports. Good luck Ron!
He coached the UNO baseball team from 1972-85 and served as athletics director from 1979-2000, guiding his 1984 squad to the Division I College World Series, the first team in Louisiana to ever reach that pinnacle. Now he returns to a school starving for success on the heels of a move back to Division I this season, being formally introduced into the Southland Conference on Monday.
