If Loul Deng will only net you the #3 pick in this weak NBA Draft, there is no way Eric Gordon and the #6 would net AD.

I keep trying to sort out if we could be a third party with Eric Gordon. I would easily trade Gordon for Deng and Mathews, but I think we would have to send out more unfortunately. I was thinking along the lines of:

Pelicans trade: Gordon for Mathews and Deng

Bulls trade: Deng, Taj Gibson and Charlotte #1 for Lamarcus Aldridge

Portland trades: Mathews and LA for Eric Gordon, Taj Gibson and Charlotte #1


We would be taking on about $7 million this year, but gaining $7+ million moving forward. How else can I tweak this?

Funny how the Bulls had AD, but traded him to Portland for Tyrus Thomas. Boy was that ever a bad move on Chicagos part.
