    Best Rap Albums

Figured we could put it's own thread on here

Here's mine in no particular order:

    All Eyez On Me- Tupac
    Est. 1999- BTNH
    Be- Common
    Graduation- Kayne
    You Got Me- The Roots

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

    No order

    Be - Common
    Black Album - Jay Z
    Eminem Show - Eminem
    Food and Liquor - Lupe
    The Cool - Lupe

I didn't get into rap until later in life, so I haven't listened to older rap albums, but I do think that "Hit Em Up," "Troublesome 96" and "Keep Ya Head Up" are 3 of my favorite songs ever. I have love for Tupac and Biggie but never listened to their complete albums.

I bought Lupe Food and Liquor wanting to like it; mind you i'm only on number 5 (I gotcha) and haven't been overly impressed by anything but Kick, Push .. hope it's getting better.

    Edit: Like The Instrumental

I think the back half of the album is loaded. "Real" is the only song I don't like on the entire album. "Emperor's Soundtrack" "Hurt Me Soul" and "Pressure are my favorites.

I hate when good lyricists are undermined by bad beats. I feel like that's the case with Brother Ali.
