huh? A 22-6-5 player should never be insulted that way. I've got plans for him, if a trade doesn't happen. It's not life or death for me to get rid of him, which is why I'm not willing to accept crap deals for him.

The Cassell signing really pissed me off. He could have come alot cheaper and given me enough room to sign two more elite bench players. I knew Trell was gonna offer Jay Williams the max. This is also why I resigned Aaron McKie for cheap as insurance. He can share minutes with Livingston in the mean time at the point. Livingston won't score but he's an A- handler and his defense is B- which I will train for free.

I might have put a bid in for Cassel if you didn't resign him. Would have been a low bid though so not much hope.

It's one of the great things about salary cap hell he's my only option at pg. I probably should have offered him less but I had to have him 18/8 is pretty solid anyways especially as a 4th option

I was gonna offer him a one year deal worth 7-9 million if available as a stopgap for Shaun Livingston who's taking his sweet time in developing. I really wanted Cassell. Jay Williams wasn't a realistic option.
