    That's better. I'll accept that statement. I just don't think there's good argument for a solid 4th best team yet.

    Silly other GMs, Carter to Dallas was indeed brought up.

    But, Roy was only considered as an option because I had #1. I never targeted him, I never really wanted him, and I darn sure didn't want to give Beeball the wing option he'd been looking for all of last season. My targets were Gay & Bargnani, and I didn't want to draft Andrea at #3. Too high.

    West/Fortson
    Tsak

    and about 25 million in cap space would have been absolutely devastating

    Also I thought about Gay, but I would have taken Roy #1

    Yeah, but not only would that mean I'm starting over again, I'd also have to find a backup SF, reconstruct my entire financial strategy (it's not wise to spend cap space with, a team full of rookie deals), and deal with the cries of "PG hoarder!!!!"

    BPA be damned, patience goes beyond what's expected sometimes. Will it bite me in the butt? Probably. But I'm one of the absolute worst GMs at sticking to my guns. This time I'm legitimately trying to.
