Not. My biggest goal isn't to win a championship. I just want a consistent 50 game winner making a decent run in the playoffs with a roster set long-term.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

Makes no sense. No one wants to run a team built for them. Theres no pride in that and you seem too cognizant to not see that. . They want to play with the team they built. I have no idea why you're quitting in the first place, but the thought behind it seems flawed.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

This is gonna be my 7th year at the helm. Sometimes it's time for a change to refresh. I've accomplished almost all of my goals here in Houston. We've built a strong organization where guys are happy to play, hence Manu and McKie offering less money to stay. Still more work to be done, especially this offseason to complete the foundation. Hopefully I can get that done. Expectations are at an all-time high now. Fans expect a consistently strong team and I'm close to the point of making it happen. Also, I'm sure there is someone who will be happy to take over once its all said and done. Basically, if I do my job right, all that person will have to do is hit same every week on the depth chart. But it eventually it will happen. Don't have a timeline yet.

There are some who want to build a team of their own but there are others looking for a stacked deck. I respect either way. I'm more of a builder. I kinda envy the Kings right now. No pressure, completely starting over. It's like being young all over again.

Sorry, Pels78. You either are having fun and want to continue or aren't having fun and want to leave. This legacy thing or leaving a great product behind for the next guy is completely ridiculous for what is essentially a computer program. Finding someone who knows the game like you and is as active will be a difficult process. There aren't any GMs waiting and there is likely to be a few who quit or get booted before you "leave your mark."

What's really going on here? Are you not having fun with the game? I don't think anyone who comes in is going to like your artwork as much as you do. Be upfront, because I'm not buying its just time for your particular Rockets computer code to get a change of scenery.

Also even if I somehow threw myself into the top of the league I will still be care free, as you'll all see yourselves soon.

I have always thought about moving on from the lakers and taking a train wreck. But just say so if that's what you want.

I think he has a hard time seperating himself from his "sim GM".

We are talking about someone that has fired himself twice already.

I feel bad for whoever inherits the Warriors. 4 30+ year old veterans with high multiyear contracts. Ouch.

So now we have an open team and we found out about it before off-season because of some genius who suggested this GM check-in. Well I'd definitely like to thank that guy for looking out for the league. Thanks whoever you are.
