Lakers Response to finals loss and a bid Farewell

To the Fans and other GMs:

Thank you for another fantastic season. More than ever, the league has become increasingly competitive. We made it to the finals and just played a very tough team. We wanted to say congratulations to the Hornets who are the class of the league and to all of our opponents specifically the ones we faced in the Playoffs. I also want to bid farewell to season 6. A big part of moving forward is accepting what has happened and learn from it. To the Lakers fans, we promise you, we will learn from this humiliating defeat and come back stronger than ever.

    Sincerely,

    BSH
    Lakers GM.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Where does Al Iverson fit into your plans for the future?

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

    Its what I do.

Haven't made the official announcement. But I'm waiting on a successor too. Don't want to leave the team in bad shape or hanging like what happened to the Blazers. Probably gonna hand pick someone and have them learn under me this upcoming season. If they're ready by the end of the playoffs, then I will formally announce my resignation.
