If you've got a better point system, by all means suggest it, but I'm not going to justify every single point selection lol. I did it months ago at this point. I felt like it was harder irl to work on your 3 point shot and jump shot than an inside shot. Which is why everyone's not running around shooting .400. I took the template from 2k and adjusted it here and there.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

I don't mind. I don't garner much points anyway. I've never used them either.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

Just to use Pelicans as an example. How many people "don't use" or even "don't care" about their points? If they aren't deemed important by everyone then this "tax" isn't going to do what it's meant to do.

There's penalties for not being able to pay it. That's the big difference. You go 30 mill over and have to pay 60 you're losing your MLE and lle. That's a big penalty to a contending team.

You also can't train your rookies which is a big deal.

I think the points are important to people able to get enough to use them. It took me till this season to have enough to use on a training camp. But now with the new system i dont know what ill be able to use it on and how well i will be able to get points

The new point system is geared towards teams like yours. No stars. Team oriented goals.

I really like most of the point selections. Just trying to understand the particulars. Also want to make sure this was something that has some basis behind it. I hope this is not offensive in any way, but I really want to make sure they weren't numbers you just threw out there one night off the top of your head and now it's gonna be used as the league standard.

Trying to avoid anything becoming an issue next offseason. It seems points are gonna be much harder to come by so it would be in our best interest to get it right.

I guess my only suggestion would be to think about switching jump shot to 35. I would think 3point shooting would be more valuable than regular jump shooting. And, not being a real basketball player myself, I can only assume both are harder to improve in real life than inside scoring.

    I'm fine with it.

Personally, I would like to see 3point offense cheaper just so I can use it on Miller.
I guess I'll just have to save up.

I'm agreed, but I can't speak for everyone.

I think we've addressed every one of my questions/concerns.

    One more question.

Will there still be a "raise players's potential" and "waive 4th year rookie contract" option?

    Just being thorough.
