ZachLowe: Hearing the asking Price for Dirk is a top 5 pick on a rookie contract as well as longterm cap relief
@ZachLowe: RIP man, I bet you didn't think that would be your last tweet. At least you left your column to @BeeBallReasons in your will.
Sad day for fans everywhere. Hope to continue the work of the great Zach Lowe -Beeball Reasons

@FSH: Baron averaged 16/10 last season compared to Jefferson's 9/5. Now Jefferson is up to 22/10 despite being a number two option behind Melo. Number 2 in FG% #MostImprovedEVer

[I]@FSH: With the Rockets slowing down to a normal pace, Jefferson's numbers will surpass Baron by the end of the season since he gets more touches now...I]

@FSH: Baron has 100 more shots already compared to last season. Of course his numbers should go up. Averaging way more shots per game compared to last season.

@FSH: Houston folks will always find any reason to take shots at Memphis or the Grizzlies. Inferiority complex slowing going away

Wojo_yahooshports: Sonics incredibly excited about Chris Paul's rookie campaign, although they are optimistic, feel they aren't built for the playoffs with such awful defense.
MarcStein_steinline: Seattle is attempting to maximize cap space and invest all in on chris paul long term. Looking to cut tax bill short term as attendance is lower than you would expect with such an exciting style of basketball.
Perhaps they are preparing for a move?

@LakersNation: Not sure how MIP is a debate. Take a look at these numbers.
    Artest
MPG FT % 3P % RPG APG SPG BPG PPG
    53.36% 18.28% 4.93% 64.71% 120.00% 83.33% 300.00% 421.62%

    Davis
MPG FT % 3P % RPG APG SPG BPG PPG
    3.38% -1.08% 18.42% -1.82% 9.57% 0.00% 0.00% 52.44%
Baron having wonderful season but no where near the improvement of Artest. People just voting elsewhere ot be different.

And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

@FSH: Agree with LakerNation. Artest deserves more of a vote than Baron...

@FSH: LakerNation's stats show Artest should be number one and Jefferson number two since Jefferson was much better last season.

What about combing Jefferson and Baron's production together? Does it still pale to Ron Artest's production? Could be close.

Baron's production is amazing considering his MPG only went up 3%. Any other year Baron or Jefferson gets it, but Artest went from a throw away to fringe All Star. I think the net gain from Artest was much higher, but I consider Baron and Jefferson the better player.
