1st time this season we get to see the starting line up we all thought we'd have.

Dirk is also making his season debut in the starting lineup.

Gotta say, top to bottom, our starting lineup ain't so bad in comparison. Dirk beats Davis out in terms of offense, but in rebounding and weakside D it ain't even close.

Collison is faster by a million miles, but Gravy can shoot and deal dimes. Gordon and Mayo are at worst a wash, at best leaning in our favor by virtue of Gordon being a better finisher. Aminu and Marion are evenly matched with their strengths and weaknesses. And Lopez and Kaman will be a nice match up.

Our benches should be the deciding factor. Anderson needs to come out hot and lethal. And Rivers needs to start regaining whatever it was he had against the T'Wolves more than a month ago. Cuz Vince Carter is gonna be a handful. He always has good games vs us.

Marion is a way more effective player than aminu ever could dream of being...but everything else seems to be fair.

I am quietly confident that Gordon will help Aminu pick his game up. Hopefully they have some sort of residual 'clipper connection' that they can summon back up for the hornets.

how can you pick up a foul because a player tipped over your foot?

This is why Davis needs to understand that everyone knows he's a shot blocker. So just show him the ball and if you're in the air and the ball isn't being shot, only three things happen, you foul them, they go around you and score, or they get fouled and score.

He'll learn. Ho' boy will he learn.

But how bout that defensive possession just now? That was a thing of beauty. Perfect rotation. Only problem was the offensive rebounds.

I love watching this team at 100%. The starting 5 was so fluid. Stupid cheap fouls got Vasquez and Davis in foul trouble.
