Pelcians logo MAY have just leaked...
Major grain of salt here.
Driveman, a rather, um, interesting fellow who posts on HT on Tigerdroppings just said that he has seen the Pelicans Adidas apparel, and that it is going to be official. He called the Benson ownership news a few hours before everyone else broke the news, but he's such a weird guy its hard to believe him.
Anyway he posted this and said this is it:

I think i like the un-official logo that was floating around here forever a little bit more but this one isn't bad.
EDIT: Is it just me or does that logo look off center? Makes me think fake?

Already been brought up. I've seen off center logos on other merchandise so I don't automatically discount it, but that is why I said MAJOR grain of salt.Originally Posted by WhoDatHornet

The off center could be because its a prototype...but it does raise questions. Does this logo remind anyone of BigDub's designs for Pelicans? I have been trying to remember what they looked like, and this sort of looks like his. That would lead me to believe it more, since he hasn't posted in forever, and we know he got his designs in front of Benson...

Looks like a secondary logo more than a primary logo, but I like it.

Is is just me or is that just an image of a hat cut out/design printed on a piece of paper? Was it suppose to be an actual hat or leaked design?
And I just can't see some one risking their job to leak a secret design to a friend.

Pretty sure I have seen that logo before on chris creamers sports design forum. Certianly seems not legit.
Looks fake to me. Logo is perfectly flat compared to the viewer but the hat isn't it. So it isn't centered on the hat.

I agree. I think it is shopped.
I don't think it's real but I wouldn't discount it because of that. A lot of NBA merchandise pictures online are just the computer graphic and not the actual product. It's just the fastest way to get a picture out quickly while they are being produced

I don't think it's as much fake as a potential design of one of the hats.
I like the actual gold and that navy blue colors at least.

It's pretty clear this has been photoshoped. Imo the logo is pretty simplistic, the ball (at least the way it's used) is pretty irrelevant right there... I hope it's not the final logo.
And by the way, it's 100% matter of fact that we are switching Hornets to "Pelicans"?

everyone is looking into the "presentation" of this picture too much. i'm not saying I know if it's the real logo or not, but the fact that the image is computer-generated is irrelevant to all of that.
look at half the hats on our team store... they're photoshopped images, not the actual hat.

Not too mention that half of them still say Charlotte Hornets, but even worse some New Orleans Hornets designs have Charlotte written on Hugo's chest.
