Thread: Josh Childress

    Question Josh Childress

Brooklyn is waiving him. Considering our ongoing struggles at small forward, should we take look at signing him? He was buried in Brooklyn, but just a few years ago was considered a solid starter with some upside. Has a pretty developed offensive game at 6'8". Could probably pick him up pretty cheap and though a veteran he's only 28 or 29. Thoughts?

No thanks. Rather just roll with McGuire than deal with him.

He has been a nice surprise defensively. Not a bad option backing up the 3 in the future.

Why not give him a look for the rest of this season, and if it works good, if not let him go, a lot of people didn't think McGuire would help this team, but he has been a pleaseant surprise.

Agreed on McGuire. His defense has been impressive.

What's his contract situation? If he's an expiring sure, but if he has multiple years on his deal no thanks.
