Brooklyn is waiving him. Considering our ongoing struggles at small forward, should we take look at signing him? He was buried in Brooklyn, but just a few years ago was considered a solid starter with some upside. Has a pretty developed offensive game at 6'8". Could probably pick him up pretty cheap and though a veteran he's only 28 or 29. Thoughts?
Pass.
He just never came back the same.
Ignore.
Guess who is putting in time at WBOK 1230 AM Talk Radio... Don't guess, it's me. Tune in on Fridays at 12 noon for Sport-a-Talk with Roe Brown and you might just hear me!
Feel free to PM me for details.
Why not give him a look for the rest of this season, and if it works good, if not let him go, a lot of people didn't think McGuire would help this team, but he has been a pleaseant surprise.

What's his contract situation? If he's an expiring sure, but if he has multiple years on his deal no thanks.
I thought contract only matters if ti's a waiver claim.
