David Wesley, our OWN ANNOUNCER, just referred to the bobcats as the Charlotte Hornets. Now he did play there for a while but that is exactly the reason why we cannot stay the Hornets.

I'm on board with the rebrand, but give the guy a break. He played for the Charlotte Hornets (longer than he did for the New Orleans Hornets I believe), and they're playing the Bobcats in Charlotte. Bound to happen eventually. And its not like he was lighting up the world with his color commentary or anything

Ive always been so against the rebrand but I could now handle Voodoo coupled with a Saints colour scheme.

Black and Gold is too awesome.

Not saying anything bad about the guy, it's just something that happens a lot by announcers from all over.

I'm not sure how these particular slips are damaging. High volume public speakers err in many ways often . . . it happens, no knock on them. Sensitivity to this issue and not the others is in the ears of the behearers.

Yeah, Wesley has been terrible. They should replace him next season.
