The return of Eric Gordon approaches.
"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."
You know, it does bring up the idea though, why not start Gordon?
Guys like Greivis and Davis are who he needs to gain some chemistry with, not guys like Brian Roberts and Dominic McGuire.
Plus if he's trying to get back into the swing of things I'd much rather let him play with Greivis.
It feels good seeing gordons face there. If only we had a starting sf..

wow that's a really pretty arena. Here's a couple other views. They have that modified "middle tier" of seating and two club levels that the top notch NBA arenas have (Atlanta, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Dallas etc. etc.)
This game has huge impact on standings and potentially on ping pong balls.

...rooting for the long-term interests of our Hornets/Pelicans/Voodoo/Brass since 2003
This had been the longest wait I have possibly ever experienced.
Will Gordon retain this other-worldly talent? This is "top 10 player in NBA" stuff right here... It's easy to forget that this guy is arguably the 3rd most talented SG living today. If he comes back 100% and we have a good offseason (FA or draft) we'd arguably a top 5 team in the West next season. It's why I get so excited at the prospect of adding another blue chipper to this roster (Shabazz, Noel, etc) - we'd be so teed up for amazing things. We'd be OKC south.
"huhhuh... he said 'facial'..... uhhhuhhuh"

did they make a statement that he is really playing ?

If the game is on the line again tonight, do they throw Gordon out there or do we suffer thru yet another drive by Gravy? Gordon's timing will probably be off but I say throw him into the fire now.
Prolly when Jen Hale shakes her cute little *** onto the court and finds out.
Gordon's been brought back so slow and cautiously so I think he will start and play 25-32 minutes tonight. I think the intention was to rest him to the point where he could play regularly right away.

Today is the day... I just hope Gordon comes back and play!!!
