Magic Left Anderson "In The Wind"

Ryan Anderson will return to Orlando as a member of the New Orleans Hornets.

Anderson was acquired by the Hornets in a sign-and-trade in the offseason during his restricted free agency.

“[The Magic] were waiting to see what they were going to do with Dwight and a few other pieces. And for me it was a situation that was just so different because, obviously, I didn’t have a relationship with Rob Hennigan,’’ said Anderson. “They didn’t even have a coaching staff at that point. For me, I was just kind of in the wind. I was playing it by ear and whatever happens, happens.

“I’m incredibly blessed to be [with the Hornets] and to have the deal that I got, and I’m very happy. But as for Orlando, I didn’t hear much from the Orlando side (during free agency) because it was just so many new people. I’m sure it would have been different as far as communication-wise if Otis and Stan were still around.’’

Their stupidity is our genius. Thank you, fools.

And is it just me or does Anthony Davis look WAY more muscular in that sig than he does IRL? It's like looking into the future and he has Dwight Howard's body.

I have to say he looks skinnier than he did during the summer

Could be. He is half an inch taller now than when we drafted him. Might be hard for a growing body like that to keep muscle on until the growing stop.

And his growth plates in his legs are still open. Crazy as it is to imagine, he could have another little growth spurt in him.

I sort of don't even want him to grow too much more. Maybe another inch, but anything after that worries me.

I know I sometimes like to complain about our Gordon situation, but at least our front office didn't:

    1. Trade our superstar for peanuts
    2. Let Ryan Anderson walk
and 3. Resign Jameer Nelson for $8.6 million per year

In the grand scheme of things, it's pretty good being a Hornets fan!

Needs to add some strength. He is getting pushed around like a rag doll around the goal.

“The thing is,” he added, “Orlando didn’t even make a move at me. So it was a situation where every other team we spoke with thought that Orlando was going to match, and the only team that was willing to take that risk was New Orleans. It was just a real different situation.”

I can't believe they did that Nelson contract and let Ryan Anderson walk.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"
