    Recently Waived Players

Chris Douglas Roberts, Kris Joseph, J. Vernardo, S. Samuels, Lazar Hayward, Sam Young, Maalik Wayns all were released today. Any interest?

Personally, sign me up for Sam Young

Isn't Sam Young a two guard? That has the body of a three? Seems like it on TV

I liked Kris Roberts at 'Cuse. So, I'd bring him in.

I just want Young to bring some toughness to this team. Not expecting him to be a world beater on the court. I want an enforcer in games and a guy to toughen us up in practice

I also would like Sam Young. He played well for Memphis a couple of years ago. Not sure why he hasn't played at the same level, but it's worth a shot given he plays a position of need.

Jarvis Varnado is the all time leading shot blocker in college basketball history, but a PF with no offense at all so he wouldn't really help

I loved Hayward at Marquette, he always seemed to come up with clutch buckets. Been pretty disappointing in the league so far though.

I wouldn't mind bringing in CDR.

Can any of those SG/SF in ther OP knock down the open 3?
Otherwise I'd rather persevere with Aminu and Henry who know the Hornets system.

Chris Douglas Roberts is a scoring SF, right? I know next to nothing about him or why he can't stick with a team but he might be worth a look. The rest are unexciting IMO.

Yes hes a SG/SF.....but he can't hit the three according to his stats.
I'r rather stick with Aminu IMO.
CDR is only going to take minutes off Aminu & Henry.

I'd rather sign Robin Benzing. Dude is money from 3, can handle the rock some, and he has added 15 lbs to his 6'10 frame since the draft 2 years ago.

CDR was the leading scorer in D-League before Dallas brought him up this year.

And now a team that cant win a game as of late lets him go. To me, that is more telling than the fact he was lighting up the D-League

Rockets waived Scott Machado. We probably don't need him but I know some of you here have mentioned him in the past.

I'd love to give Machado a 10 day and see how he fits.
