Keep him out as long as he needs... I'd love to see a fully-healthy line-up with he and EG out there.

http://www.nola.com/hornets/index.ss...kie_for_6.htmlNew Orleans Hornets rookie forward Anthony Davis will miss his 10th consecutive game on Friday night against the Memphis Grizzlies because of a stress reaction in his left ankle injury, but Coach Monty Williams said he is making progress. Davis was seen near the end of practice Thursday at the Alario Center working on his post moves against Williams.
``Every day he’s getting closer,’’ Williams said. ``How close, I’m not sure. He’s got more testing to do medically to see where his ankle/foot is. I think that’s a big hurdle right now.
``He’s got to make sure the medical people say he’s at a certain level where he can do more. Today, we were just working on foot work and talking to him about things he can do going forward.’’
Keep him out as long as he needs... I'd love to see a fully-healthy line-up with he and EG out there.
Video:Monty at todays practice.
Talks about preparing for Memphis, Davis' injury progress, Rivers, etc.
Also, it sounds like Darius Miller isn't working to Monty's standards. Monty said he wasn't competing every night.

I've found myself uninterested in progress reports, frankly.
Guess who is putting in time at WBOK 1230 AM Talk Radio... Don't guess, it's me. Tune in this Friday for Sport-a-Talk with Roe Brown and you might just hear me!
Feel free to PM me for details.

Steve Kyler said this in his chat on HoopsWorld today. Nothing new, just glad to hear that everying still seems to be according to schedule:
Q. Whats the latest on Anthony Davis?
A. Talked with him yesterday… he is not yet cleared to practice, but he is running and working with trainers every day. He doesn’t look like he’s favoring it, but he and the team want to be a 100% so that he can finish the season and not be in and out.
I would expect him back within the next ten days, and Eric Gordon maybe 10 to 14 days after that… both as very close to a return.
