Why does your team never seem to meet it's expectations?

We were so pleased with last year's lottery team that we decided not to make any significant changes. Clearly we had a quiet off-season, thus not much to say. We have 3 young stars in Boozer, Gasol & Marbury. Unfortunately the team defense is not up to par and I'm expecting yet another failure of a season. Team is young and the future is bright. That's gonna be our motto as long as I'm the manager!

HR Sim League Orlando Magic
PG: Luke Ridnour, Delonte West, Greg Minor
SG: Andre Iguodala, Mickael Pietrus
SF: Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Boris Diaw
PF: Charlie Villanueva, Ian Mahinimi, Amir Johnson
C: Eddy Curry, Mamadou Ndiaye, Adam Parada
Poor management. At times the front office seems clueless. Constantly making unnecessary moves and going for the flashy players. The team lacks a balanced approach to winning. We can pound you from the inside out, but we'll give up 130 points while doing it.
I think my team has shown how important depth/defense is. I may have one of the more talented trio of stars in the league but it doesn't equate to a complete team.
