Nah. Sometimes the inbounder can be forgotten and can get a quick tap back pass. Besides, you want your best passer making the throw in. Would you rather it be Aminu? Or *shudders* Lopez? Can't be Mason or Anderson, those are your 3pt shooters.

you're not getting a tap back with less than a second left with any room to get it up. gotta have 4 offensive options on the floor or at least 3 and a screen man for a last play like that

Usually teams practice these type of plays so unless they practice with 4-5 shooters on the court at the same time, you're probably not going to see it on the fly. My guess is that they want to have a couple of screeners on the court for these type of plays. Phoenix just really defended it well.

I'm starting to worry about Monty's defensive scheme and whether it fits the personnel. Because we certainly don't look like a top defensive team. That was supposed to be our calling card.

We had a way better defensive team last year, im talking about our roster, not how we did.

I guess so, but I also think that a good coach can notice things and make adjustments. We give up so many runs because Monty doesn't adjust to changes on the court. At one point there was something like a 29-5 run last night, and we couldnt do a thing to stop it. It's incredibly frustrating to watch a coach and team continue to do the same thing over and over again.
