Well, well, well. X has played nicely. His defensive intensity made a huge difference. Delfino thought he could take him but X was right on him.

If he can do this more and get consistent play, he'll earn his roster spot.

I don't get the thinking that Rivers isn't ready or hasn't shown flashes. He's flown a LOT of flashes of being solid. I just hope this mental block that's keeping his shots off is lifted eventually. That'll be what does him in.

Don't matter how quick he is, how well he can get open looks, it's the same as being covered if you brick the shots.
