Again our front court depth has been great. They are getting us 2nd and ever 3rd chances (Smith), but still wanna see them contest more of these drives by the guards. Not their fault though as rivers, roberts and gv our the first line of defense against the drives. Ryno is hitting his shots, Rivers is attacking, robin the goblin is doing his thing, and AD23 is dominating without it being obvious to the casual fan. I agree with Wesley. Don't start settling for jump shots. Get to the rim.
You're not comprehending what I'm saying. I'm not saying that his defense is poor or that he doesn't put effort into his defense. What I'm saying is that he doesn't defend all the way through the shot attempt. He doesn't contest jump shots. That doesn't work against a shooter like Gordon. He's been doing it since game 1 and has continued today.

Rivers will not last long in this league if he can't develop a floater or medium range jump shot. There are going to be games like tonight where he does not get calls. Takes a beating for nothing.

Rivers has Chris Paul's first season problem of being too light. When he bulks up, he'll be able to use leverage when he gets around people and maybe even let them ride on his back. Going full tilt when you you're a step slower than elite in the speed department ain't gonna cut it. Gotta kill 'em with efficiency.
Monty has to look at his match-ups. When playing small guards Vaszquez(spelling) is too slow.
