Basically what I thought, Vasquez was abused last night.

I still don't feel like doing this. Still absolutely disgusted from last night. I don't care who was not playing or whatever, other than Rivers, these same guys played a nice game at Chicago, were leading at halftime last night, and just didn't show up the rest of the game. Anyway, let's do this.
Offensive Rating (Team - 71.3)
Warrick - 150 (7 minutes)
Lopez - 95
Henry - 94
Roberts - 83
Anderson - 81
Thomas - 78 (7 minutes)
Smith - 71
Aminu - 72
Miller - 69
Vasquez - 54
Mason - 20
1. This game was really about Vasquez. He was miserable running the offense. Took too long setting up things, allowed his man to continuously pressure him, and made too many turnovers. He needed to speed up things offensively because the team couldn't score in the halfcourt.
2. Too many jumpers. Not enough guys attacking the basket.
3. Too many turnovers.
Defensive Rating (88.6)
Smith - 67
Lopez - 81
Warrick - 83
Aminu - 84
Miller - 87
Anderson - 89
Thomas - 91
Henry - 95
Vasquez - 96
Mason - 97
Roberts - 99
1. Smith and Lopez stand out due to the blocked shots. Aminu played well defensively. Vasquez stunk it up on that end.

If Gordon ever comes back, I would consider going with Rivers at the point if Vasquez doesn't improve from this sorry performance.
Teams watched the Chicago film on Vasquez. He does not handle pressure defense well. Expect more of the same until he proves otherwise.
Tbh, I think people will look at the fact that Greivis is averaging 12 and 9 and think to themselves that he's having a good season, but he's really not.
I can live with the 12/9/4 average. That's quite productive for a PG. The problem is his defense and the turnovers. He's not quite productive enough overlook those type of glaring deficiencies.
Also, He should not be taking 13 shots a game. That isn't his game and he needs to do a better job of picking his spots. We don't need him for his scoring. We need him for his ability to run the offense and getting the ball to his teammates in spots they like.

He's also only shooting 34.6% from the field.
He shouldn't be taking 13 shots a game but hopefully one day we'll have a competent SG to help out with that. The best SG on the team has a bum knee and Austin hasn't been cutting it as far as scoring goes. At least not yet. Davis and Lopez are considered defensive players so we shouldn't expect much scoring out of them. Any scoring from them would be icing.
I do think right now he needs to score a bit more since Gordon is out and the team lacks scorers. He just needs to be more efficient out there. His advanced numbers were mediocre before last night and now they are just awful.
