I would go to sunny beach California so I could beach and tan while I'm not in a lot of pain from my knee and I love New Orleans.
It could be he's trying to get away from the team, anything is possible. But I won't worry about something that is such a stretch. Just seems stressful for no reason.
kind of like Mashburn going to rehab in Miami. sure, because we don't have rehab in NOLA up to EG's standards. he doesn't care, he wants to go hang with his friends in LA who are still on the Clippers. or maybe he's taking the Dwight Howard approach to leaving a team.
I'm sure Sonic Boom could have helped him just fine. Maybe he just needs to rub some animal sauce on his knee.
If they wanted to keep Gordon away from the team then they wouldnt have had him sit on the bench against Chicago cheering on his teammates.
