We have no players that can create offense. I think he might've meant for others, like a facilitator, but Gordon is that in addition to a guy that can get his own shot.

He said this team (hornets) and no one that can create their own shot.

Agreed. I don't think playing a couple more minutes is worth it at this point. We already have one crippled lottery player in Rivers.

    We don't need two.

"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."

Does Davis have a ball magnet on his hands?

"I want ONLY 9 eyebrows in the starting lineup for the Hornets next year." I typed this before the draft lottery

But when we can score baskets in transition, usually off of strong defense, Vasquez is very ill suited for that.

I said this in Hornets247 after the 17 rebound game. He just have a knack for knowing where the ball is or will be.

That is all about chemistry. This is a lot of these guys 8th professional game playing together. Maybe it would be more fluid if he somehow played in SL.

The Saints defense needs someone like that in the worst way.

I don't know how it's pronounced at this point. I remember hearing Dell pronounce his name that way during the NBATV Preseason Training Camp interview. I figure he'd at least be able to pronounce his name since he traded for him?

It's more from his guard days where he keeps soft hands. Unlike Lopez who also gets his hands on the balls, but fumbles around with it (no homo).

Disagree with you there. Fastbreaks are about fast twitch, vision, and court awareness. Vasquez is more cerebral and methodical. There's a place for him. And it's in half court offense. But he's not going to be a guy you ask to run up tempo. Things happen too fast for him and he's playing behind the 8 ball.

    Anderson with the dagger.

Such a fun game. I'm sure I'll watch it again multiple times.

This will be one fun season.

Even though its just preseason, I was kinda dreading this one.

I wil continue to dread the Saints game Sunday night and hope for similar results.
