Sucks that Dirk is injured, would have loved to see how AD did against him on defense.
Mavs are going small with Kaman and Dirk out, so I'd guess our streak of winning the rebounding battle continues.
Also, NOLA.com article said that Monty's thinking about starting Lance Thomas tonight, I think at SF. No link, on a phone.

New Orleans Hornets forward Lance Thomas could earn his first start of the preseason Monday night against the Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center. Hornets Coach Monty Williams said Thomas gives them more stability and toughness.

Hmmm, interesting. I really like what Lance brings most nights. Never really thought of him as a SF though. Is he really capable of competing with Aminu, Anderson, Miller, Henry, etc for SF minutes?
I want a semi-serious starting lineup; one with Thomas out there is not one. Hes looked at as a 4/3 but I dont see it. Especially offensively. I'd much rather give Miller a shot, but I'm not the coach. I trust their a specific reason he's doing this.
Looking forward to actually being able to stream a game though! Should be an interesting one given the small ball lineup Dallas is going to supposedly use.

If we're gonna start Lance, can we see a good bit of Miller as well? I'm excited about his potential but he needs an identity.
Between Thomas and Vasquez I'm worried about our outside shooting. Gordon would have no one to kick it out too. I think Miller balances out our lineup the best.

Yes, KTXA 21 is a local, independent channel in Dallas. They broadcast all of the pre-season Mavericks games.
I'm going to this game and looking forward to it, especially since the Hornets don't come to Dallas until January 2013 in the regular season.
