    The question for the Suns is why didn't they just keep Jamison and go all out to resign Damon Stoudamire?

    From a fringe playoff race guy, I like this trade. But as a guy who was told any deal for O'Neal required an 03 1st in the package, I'm perplexed.

    I'm not sure why the Nets did this. Yes, the guys he traded are expiring, but can you imagine telling the fanbase after two non-playoff seasons, you trade away two of your best players because they were FAs?

    Now, I think he can still make the playoffs. He can put Wallace at center and move Joe Smith to PF and Miller is an upgrade over Davis, but losing O'Neal hurts.

    I decided to go in a new direction and focus on a single, unifying concept and strategy. It hurt to trade Jamison and leave Damon out there, but they simply didn't fit. The players I've been targeting do.

    Yeah and I think when u put Davis as a scoring option he's just as good as miller.

    He's gonna need to with Fortson and O'Neal waiting for him in the paint. Hopefully he gets some help from Big Country, Brad Miller, and Drew Gooden.
