    I can tell you its out of The Krewe & The Pelicans, I have a good friend that works at the league office in New York City and they are a reliable source. While they wouldn’t confirm which name it is, the brand has been finalized. Public announcement should be happening sometime during the season, they hinted that the logo looks very generic.
    If this is true then Krewe is still in play. I am down.

    Yea i agree with that. If the rumor of gray is true i am thinking its most likely pelicans. If it was Krewe i would be expecting "Mardi Gras" type colors.

    And with a name like Krewe the logo definitely shouldn't be generic. Here we associate "Krewe" with Mardi Gras. Most things associated with Mardi Gras are anything BUT generic. Are we talking Brooklyn Nets kind of generic? I guess we shall see.

    As stated many times BENSON already said he wants a change. It's his team and his millions so he will do what he wants. It appears what he wants is a name change so keeping Hornets seems highly unlikely at this point.
