I'm only saying this Because it was brought up last year in the Steve Nash deal that the Nuggets and I did. A couple ppl said that " You can't break a trade into two parts". Our two separate trades were not processed. Very similar to what you guys are doing. Will be interesting to see if this one is allowed tho.
Well this isn't really a 2 part trade. These are two completely separate trades, and the alternate trade (that we discussed and both approved) went through instead of the original. But he still wanted Ward and I don't mind parting with him. It isn't like the other trade wouldn't work and we did this separate.... if fact it would've worked fine if we had put ward/hudson in there.
It was more an afterthought. I messaged him after and said "ah crap, the alternate trade went through... do you still want ward? I can trade him for a min guy"... literally is the convo we had
I think with your trade you were trying to send more than the allowed pieces in a trade that was obviously a big trade. These would have and could have fit into the original deal and would have worked. But again, we just didn't think about that until after the fact.
But if it's a big deal, we can hold off on the trade.
I thought it was a dumb rule anyway. It doesn't matter to me if the trade goes through or not. I'm just letting you know what happened in my case.
Hopefully its a non-issue but if it is, I'll talk to JNR and maybe just hold off.
All these trades are delaying the sim![]()

Brad Miller - Samaki Walker - Mickael Pietrus - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston
A week or two in real life could mean 70 days in the game. Alot changes in 70 days.
Not to mention I never said how long you have to wait.

So does that mean this trade is denied?
If you add these two guys to the other trade and it's still legal I don't have a problem with it. It's the trades where you're bending the rules because it doesn't work cap wise or there are to many pieces involved that I don't like. I just can't process anything right now because I'm not at my laptop.
So... is this processed or no go?
He just said he can't process it until he gets to his laptop...

Oops, I posted that without seeing all the posts in this thread. My Bad
And acrtually, both JNR and I agreed to scrap this trade for right now. So you can lock it up and not process
