Good. Was hoping it was really "just precautionary" like Monty said.

http://www.nola.com/hornets/index.ss..._river_defaultAfter missing Friday night’s game against the Houston Rockets because of a tweaked groin, New Orleans Hornets rookie forward Anthony Davis said he plans to practice Sunday after Coach Monty Williams gave the team Saturday off.
Davis said he sat out Friday's game only as a precaution.
``That was it,’’ Davis said in the locker room following Friday’s 95-75 loss to the Rockets at the Toyota Center. ``Yep, I’ll be back Sunday.’’
Williams said Davis tweaked his groin during Thursday night’s 90-87 victory against the Charlotte Bobcats in Charleston, S.C. Davis sat out the entire fourth quarter before scoring 12 points and grabbing nine rebounds.
``He responded to treatment, but (head trainer) Jon Ishop didn’t like the way he looked before the game,’’ Williams said before Friday night’s game at the Toyota Center. ``We’re just going to make sure make sure he’s right. We have a lot of days before our next game, so we don’t want to chance him hurting himself.’’

New Orleans Hornets rookie Anthony Davis practices but held out of contact work
After tweaking his groin last week that forced him to miss Friday’s preseason game against the Houston Rockets, New Orleans Hornets rookie forward Anthony Davis returned to practice Sunday but was held out of contact work.
Hornets Coach Monty Williams said he got up and down the court a lot during the extended two-and-a half hour practice at the Alario Center.
The last thing we heard about Gordon is in the original article in this thread.
Gordon missed his fourth-straight game but he sat on the bench for the first time in the preseason in uniform. He plans to go through more extensive work this upcoming week to see how his knee holds up. The Hornets do not play their next preseason game until this upcoming Thursday against the Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena.
"Eric has to get in the kind of game shape that we need him before we put him out there on the floor,’’ Williams said."We certainly want him to be close. But I’ve got to talk to the doctors and make sure that he’s well.’’
No word about him today.
Gordon was on the bench for the game in Mexico City.

He was on the bench for the game against Houston on Friday as well.
Personally, I kind of get the idea that Gordon isn't sitting out because of an injury, but he's sitting out because they're trying to get his knee as strong as possible to prevent an injury. Just searching and finding some pictures kinds of suggests that, they're putting in as much work as they can on strengthening that knee.
What pictures?

Back on track. Time for the onslaught!
Looks like Smith has sustained another injury. Hope it isn't too serious.
New Orleans Hornets' exhibition rotations may begin to get shorter Thursday nightForward Jason Smith sustained a left shoulder injury during practice on Tuesday and his status for Thursday night's game against the Hawks is uncertain, further muddling Williams' rotational plans.
Come on, big fella, be careful!
