What's the thought on these? Some people think they're awesome, me? They look like whoever designed them got lazy and didn't really feel like finishing them, so they just made them as plain as they could. It seriously looks like zero effort was put in. And the court? Yuck.

Kinda looks like San Antonio uniforms except they say Brooklyn instead of Spurs. Simple, plain, generic.
I liked the concept jerseys with the white top and black bottom. These are designed to be timeless, so I guess that worked. It just has no personality.

Definitely vanilla, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing.
The Raptors, Grizzlies and Bobcats all had horrible uniforms when they entered the league, too gimmicky.
Keeping it simple sets a subtle psychological undertone.. substance over 'style'. Colours are simple, there's a stark contrast with the gaudy Knicks ensemble- I think they've done a decent job.

Regarding these uniforms, I like the idea, very blue collar. They almost look like a downtown high school team. As for the stadium, I like the logo on the court, just not the court itself (the wood finish, too dull).

old school brooklyn - the black ones will be sweet too. these are gonna be among the most popular in the NBA, guaranteed.
I think they could get away with uniforms this plain if they had colors other than black and white. A minimal blue/red uniform would be okay. I'm certainly not excited about these. Maybe they resinate with their home fans. I sure hope so.

I love the IDEA, but the execution is very poor. That font they used goes beyond simplistic and heads into Times New Roman territory.

Exactly my thought. The uniform concept is cool, but they lost it all with that weak font. They'd do better to switch that patch on the shorts to the chest and put Brooklyn in smaller font on the shorts.
