Hey Guru, if I were you, I would just start your own Trade Block Thread so you can update it easier.

Emeka Okafor - Al Jefferson - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Aaron McKie

Joe Smith - James Posey - Mateen Cleaves

But dont I get first crack at him and I can resign him for whatever he asks for because of the clause that lets u resign players that were on ur team regardless of cap and then i could trade him, correct?

Can do this with your points thread as well. No be hesitant to ask questing in the league chat thread. There's a lot to learn with Free Agency starting soon.

You can only sign and trade players that offered to resign with you. He did not offer so no sign and trade.

You do get first crack during FA. The fist FA sim is strictly for your own players. This will be after the Lottery and Draft.

No, and here's the reason. S&t's aren't allowed, it has to do with a rule that players newly signed or traded for (draftees an exception) have to be on your team for 60 ingame days before being moved ( why theres no 3 team deals). The exception is that if they choose to resign with you on their own (where we are at currently) you can s&t those players only.

You can sign Caron and then trade him in 60 days in this instance. IF he had offered a contract, you could S&T.

I think he should be allowed to amnesty of one his bad contracts since the previous owner added on bad contracts knowing he would quit after the season. I would be ok with Guru giving up all of his points if he could be allowed to amnesty someone. That's just my opinion. Otherwise he could keep his points and try to train players who are signed long-term.

So I obviously can't object this too much being Sura was amnestied for me. BUT that being said I'd think we'd all agree that was very different circumstances being the team I took was a feeder team. I wouldn't have any problems with this but I'm sure anyone that has taken on a team recently and didn't have one of their bad contracts amnestied will have a huge problem with this. Do it for one do it for all. I think that's the main reason amnesty has been shied away from.

I agree it should be do it for all if we do it for one. But it seems the Warriors were run as a short term project with the owner knowing he wasn't gonna be there long-term. That's why he took on Wallace's contract and Rodney Rogers last season. He must have had an idea he was gonna leave when he took on those contracts.

Sorry, no amnesty. We haven't done it for anyone else before.

He also had a choice between Nuggets and Warriors. If he didn't like the deals, he xouldve taken the other team.
