Wouldn't surprise me that if Aminu does mediocre (based on what we expect him)can then Darius Miller will get his minutes.

Aminu must show me some offense assertiveness from the jump this year.I want to see his "attack mentality" emerge in game one,,,I also want to see if he has a better grasp of the defensive concepts ( off the ball rotations etc). Its not that I need to see explosive numbers, but the need to string a series of position possessions per game is a must.
He is under my CURIOUS WATCH LIST.
1-What does not move is dead. What has speed, and mobilty has more possibilities, more life...quickness creates luck.
2- Your Defense is only as good as your HELP/ROTATING defenders.
3-Games are won while the ball is in the air.
4- You design your roster to win a 7 game series not a one game confrontation.
Wouldn't surprise me that if Aminu does mediocre (based on what we expect him)can then Darius Miller will get his minutes.

I totally agree with Gerry and I side with P Raff about Henry as well....these guys don't need to set the world on fire offensively, but they need to provide positive results on both sides of the ball....neither have to come up with anything new, but just trust and utilize the skills they already possess....

If we can take some of the edge off of Grevis'sand Rivers' aggressiveness and somehow transplant it into Aminu, he would be ok.

If Monty can't teach the young players, on this team to play good defense then nobody can.
Completely agree. This is his year to show us significant improvement or it's time to trade him.
Aminu won't ever be a competent offensive player. No real skill. Poor shooter, poor ball-handler. He can improve the shooting, but he hasn't yet. The ball-handling won't improve that much. Still, at the least, he can be a defensive specialist.
Emeka Okafor - Al Jefferson - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Aaron McKie
Joe Smith - James Posey - Mateen Cleaves
With the addition of Rivers, Anderson, Mason Jr, and a healthy Gordon, we don't need Aminu to be an offensive threat.
Hell, Davis's offense is ahead of Aminu at this point. And to say nothing of whether Miller can get his 3pt shoot on point.
Guess who is putting in time at WBOK 1230 AM Talk Radio... Don't guess, it's me. Tune in on Fridays at 12 noon for Sport-a-Talk with Roe Brown and you might just hear me!
Feel free to PM me for details.

Dont think he's going to improve a whole lot. Just doesn't look like he has the tool set for a starting job.
I think our number 1 priority in next years draft will be a starting calibre SF.
