Does anyone know if similar upgrades will be made to the N.O. Arena as part of the capital improvement projects that were part of the Hornets long term deal?

That's nuts! Freakin huge! Would love that in the arena tho!
Hornets Report Sim League presents...
2005-06 Season Record: 51-31 - 3rd Seed of Eastern Conference
Starting 5: C Tyson Chandler | PF Brian Grant | SF Corliss Williamson | SG Mike Miller | PG Gilbert Arenas
Key Reserves: Scot Pollard | Channing Frye | James Thomas | John Salmons | Tony Allen | Milt Palacio
I think by next season we will have all new arena improvements, new fan store, and importantly a re-brand. It takes time for teams to upgrade after being bought. Also by next season we will have a much better team with a significant rookie and loads of cap space. Next season will be more excting IMO to this season.
I see us saving that cap, but starting next season we may see minor improvements like the multi color seats turn all solid colors. I hope we get a screen like that tho!
It kinda looks like the setup that the Cowboys have, but obviously on a smaller scale. Something similar would be great in the arena!
They'll put something like that in the Superdome long before the arena.
looks good but it sucks that its wasted on the rockets

I don't know the specifics but remember that Houston is a much larger market and the Toyota Center also is home to the Houston Aeros of the AHL (basically the AAA level of hockey) as well as the fact that Houston attracts a greater number of concerts, shows, etc. It will also assist in Houston's effort to attract an NHL franchise someday.
Improvements to the New Orleans arena and the Superdome generally involve seating areas, concourses, things of that nature that help to attract one-time events like the Superbowl and NBA All-Star game.
