I like how they have Dyson (#470) still listed as a Hornet.

"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."

I see he dropped from 299 last year to 328 this year. Funny twitter comment, though.

How are they ranking guys who has logged 0mins in the NBA? Not thrilled with rankings altogether however I fail to see the point of putting rookies on the list.

It's like preseason power rankings in any sport really. Not really useful and no one in the sport cares.

Still strikes up conversation which prompts fiends like us to go to the site and see just what meaningless ranking they label people with.

    Agreed.

However I will say I do like the format that they use. Having everybody assign a numeric grade to every player and than taking the sum of those grades.

That twitter blurb about him is painfully unfunny.

And here is a response to the ranking ESPN has on their website:

Austin Rivers is #285 in #NBARank. To get higher, he shouldn't go chasing waterfalls and should stick to the Rivers and lakes he's used to.
