Roberts will wear #22 for New Orleans
I think most of us knew this signing was coming. He will make a great backup.

Can't wait to see what he brings to the table in actual NBA games.
Guess who is putting in time at WBOK 1230 AM Talk Radio... Don't guess, it's me. Tune in this Friday for Sport-a-Talk with Roe Brown and you might just hear me!

The Hornets looking to create some competition in camp with a player i watched during the summer league games..quicks ( lots of players have quicks" gutsy type who will get a true test "under fire"...lets he how he retains all that will be required of him ( run sets, plays etc)
One upside is the fact that having another quick guard in camp enchances your defensive progress ( having to guard him etc) also help upgrade the "need to get faster.....does he stick?
1-What does not move is dead. What has speed, and mobilty has more possibilities, more life...quickness creates luck.
2- Your Defense is only as good as your HELP/ROTATING defenders.
3-Games are won while the ball is in the air.
4- You design your roster to win a 7 game series not a one game confrontation.
Not surprising. He had a great summer league. Good addition to the end of the bench, and he can shoot the 3 as well.

Brian Roberts is a 26yr old guard who played his last season for Brose Baskets Bamberg in Germany. He then was called up by the Hornets to play in the 2012 Summer League where he played all five games with three starts. He averaged 13.8 points, 2.2 assists and 2.0 rebounds in 27.4 minutes per game while shooting 50.0% from the field, 54.5% from three-point range and 93.8% from the line. Roberts will wear #22, terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Good sign. Brian Roberts is a class-act guy and a hard worker. That makes 12 signed players including D-Mill?
Good signing... who am I missing?
Vasquez / Rivers / Roberts
EG / Mason
Aminu / Henry / Miller
AD / Anderson / Warrick
Lopez / Smith
Very happy about this. Solid addition to our bench.
He showed the most promise during Summer League. Bowles was great in the first game, but wasn't consistent.
He is a change of pace guard bringing grit and quickness to
the hornets.....now let's lock down the center backup , ...denzel bowles, hassan whiteside or harrelson .....what is the limit 15 players with one on injured. reserve...
I really don't know too much about him. The maximum number of players that we can have on a roster is 14, correct?

Looking at the Hornets roster, There is one constant. Versatility. We have players who can play multiple positions. This roster defensively should be able to match-up well against most line-ups NBA teams will throw at them.
What about SUPER BOWELS?!?!?!
(yes i said bowels... lol)
Hornets Report Sim League presents...
2005-06 Season Record: 46-28
Starting 5: C Tyson Chandler | PF Brian Grant | SF Corliss Williamson | SG Mike Miller | PG Gilbert Arenas
Key Reserves: Scot Pollard | Channing Frye | James Thomas | John Salmons | Tony Allen | Milt Palacio
He reminds me of a poor mans Andre Miller very composed running the offense...with a better 3 point shot but nowhere near as good post game
