In Spring 2003, broadcasting from the old City Club location on St. Charles, I met you and learned from you about the USBWA's Full Court Press journalism seminar during the Final Four. An article later, competing against college journalism folks, I was awarded a $1,000 journalism scholarship as a high school sophomore. It boosted both my bank account and my confidence. Never really had the place to share this, so years later, thanks!
