The fan in the comments trying to justify the Nelson contract/Anderson trade is pretty funny. "We're a rebuilding team. We don't need a 24 year old power forward who can volume shoot 3s and offensive rebound at elite levels and by all accounts is a terrific locker room guy. Let's instead pay 20m over three years for a 30 year old point guard whose skills have already began rapidly declining." That's instantly a bad contract, and by the end of it he'll be awful. Being a fan means embracing cognitive dissonance.
Him having a better offensive rebounding percentage than Kevin Love was something I wasn't aware of. That stat made me feel even better about him being here. And it really shows, he's much more than just a 3 point shooter.
