This very well may be the case, but going back to my original post I said "let's just say". I was just throwing out reasonable numbers quickly. I have no idea what kind of mins these guys will get. If Gordon can stay healthy he may get around 37-38mpg, who knows.

I think Jodie Meeks is a perfect fit, but it doesnt give us veteran leadership...

lol, wish that were the only options, but how do we sign him even if he wanted to come here? we are over the cap, i may be wrong but i dont think we can straight up sign free agents.

    76ers would have to do a S&T?????

Nope! We have a veterans minimum (he wont take that) but we also have our mid level exception. Im not sure what ours is but I have seen a lot of 2.3 mill. and 2.5 mill

tough question lol it depends on what monty wants to do with X. he said something like he sees X more as a 3, but who really knows. id like the green signing just for depth if anything happens to gordon, we have a vet who is familiar with our team that could come in and contribute.

    Martell Webster?

If you sign Roberts, there shouldn't be a problem for Rivers to play both the backup guard positions.

Jodie Meeks fits Dell's "young vet" profile the best. Matt Barnes would be great from a veteran leadership perspective. Not sure if he'd like taking a back seat to Aminu at times though.

And Roberts won't see any time unless one of Rivers, Vasquez, or Gordon goes down. Even then, Xavier will probably get time over him (if he is still on the team at that point). I really don't see why a backup guard is a huge need at this point. We are not competing for anything important this year and have enough young guys that could all use minutes on the court.

Adding another back-up guard would be nice, but that person would just be on the inactive list unless one of the other guards is injured.

    my wish list in order
    Carlos Delfino
    Leandro Barbosa (not likely)
    Mickael Pietrus
    Jodie Meeks
    Brandon Rush (not likely)
    Terrence Williams (also not likely)

I would be happy with any of those.

You guys should not give up on X yet. Why are you doing that? He still has a ton of potential. Clearly he had a knee thing going on in SL which they apparently took care. I expect great things for him this year. Prepare to watch X shine!

I'm with you on this one bro! I think he can be a very servicable player for us between the 2 and the 3 spot. This is a very important year for him !

No one is giving up on him yet we are listening to the coach who says X is better suited for the 3 than the 2.

He doesn't have a ton of potential. That's the issue here.
