There'll be no resolution on the Lopez/Warrick trade today but the 3-way deal's chances have improved. The hang-up isn't NO's cap situation.

That's not the biggest problem IMO. I'm pretty sure the Twolves need more salary for it to work. If it was not the case we would already have done the same trade without the Landry+Warrick for Diop swap. There is a reason why Miller was supposed to go to Mine and not the Suns.
I don't see the second trade happening either. Charlotte will never give a 1st for Landry even if they give a bad contract with it. They are in reconstructing mode they won't trade their 1sts for anyone that is not supposed to be part of their long term plan.
Even if they would we would not have needed the bobcats in the first place (just as before) if the terms were good with other teams.
And yeah, we can't sign Landry the kind of deal he can accept in the first place unless we waive Miller 1st (and then Miller disappear as a trading chip).
The most likely IMO is : we waive Miller then :
We get : Lopez and Warrick
Phx gets : Johnson and Mine 1st
Mine gets : Reggie Williams + dyson and 2 2nd
Charlotte gets : Landry
Now everyone would have needed everyone and it looks better salary wise ...

Pretty sure we still have the same problem with your trade that we do now. The reason it won't go through is because we aren't sending out enough salary, and waiving Miller won't give us enough room to sign Landry for more than Miller's 5.1 (I think), so I don't think that trade happens either. I could b wrong though
If we have to add X to the deal so we can get Reggie Willams. He would be perfect off the bench for Aminu. His contract is expiring also.
I just one to get this done
New Orleans Pelicans-Seattle Seahawks-Atlanta Braves-Anaheim Ducks
PERFECTION
Baptize them in the water out of Scarface pool,
And feed 'em from the table that held Corleone's food,
If you die, tell them that you played my game
I hope your bullet holes become mouths that say my name.
Im not even typing english anymore, but yeah, im sorry, I meant to say "I just want this to be done",![]()
It's the entire situation: Miller's deal not being aggregated goes away in time. Phoenix can not insist on Warrick being sent.. it's not our cap situation. It's the structure of the contracts, trade rules, and needs of the parties.

If we can get Lopez to say he wants to come here and won't okay there... We can maybe get Johnson out of the deal and they can just have the first and X. Karma.
I wouldn't really want to talk about it if I were them either. It seems like they are trading a first to unload a guy they had high hopes for just a few years ago and the right to two 2nd rounders they just gave us. I mean they are getting AK47, but I don't like it at all for them.

Just going by what is being reported. http://www.hoopsrumors.com/2012/07/h...in-rivers.html
I've been assuming the 120% number because I can't think of a pick who hasn't received that (Memphis considering not giving received press a couple of years ago). I do not think it matters in our current case anyway, but I'll keep that little bit in mind in case things are close . . . a similar amoung is keeping the Suns from being able to just keep Warrick without waiving or sending their guy out.
