As long as his "heart" is in the United States, it shouldn't have any bearing on Coach K's decision to cut him. He was cut because he played 9 games last year.

I was on Eric's side up until this point (if our speculation is correct of course). The only pity i have on him was the olympic tryouts: he got snubbed.
