my point was the timing of the jack trade...we could have held on to jack for a couple months looking for a better trade if we weren't going to use the added cap space now

yes added a 2nd rd pick for taking on Miller and his 800k.


Plus we got a 5.5m TPE we can do a S&T still for any player who would sign for that amount(if their team is willing) or we can trade for a player of that amount under contract.

there is a plan....and like you said in another thread, the jack move could have been to please gordon, not just for cap space.

I don't think this is accurate. Jack didn't net us a TPE because we were under the cap when we made that trade.

I was excited about the possibility of landing brand on a one year deal, but im glad we wasted no money. Save that cap space for next year; if need be we can always find another darryl watkins or some crap.

i understand and i feel your confusion, i thought we would hold on to him until rivers develops a little more, maybe the end of the season. im guessing something is going on behind the scenes that we just dont understand yet.
