    Demps was on WWL

Demps pretty much said Gordon is actually hurt, he wasn't demanding a trade or anything. Demps said Gordon told him he wanted to be here, and did not want a trade. He apparently further injured his knee during Olypic tryouts

I trust Dell, so thats that. *typing this on PS3*

The Supervillain will say whatever suits his needs at that time and place.

If he suspected Gordon wasn't as hurt as he says he is then he'd never tell us.

I said earlier that if Monty and company are telling the truth when they say "we want players that want to be here", how could they NOT KNOW that Gordon doesn't want to be here? Why would they force him to be here if they KNOW he doesn't want to be here? Apparently when they've said that comment in the past they knew someone didn't want to be here. I guess whenever they trade Gordon we'll finally hear the "we want players that want to be here".

In other news, it's almost game time.

I'm just not buying this at all. Demps in protecting asset mode it appears.

Yes, but Paul's heart is still in New Orleans.

GM's can't wait to get on the phone with Demps. Surely he'll have many takers for Gordon.

I really hope this is accurate. Demps has been straight forward in the past.

If he said Gordon demanded a trade, he'd lose leverage.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Bingo. It's not a matter of being 'honest' with the fans it's a matter of not shooting yourself in the foot. I'd rather a lie in this case.

Demps is on NBATV as well. Kind of seems like spin control to me.

So if I'm a GM inquiring about Gordon, do I want an injured Gordon or a Gordon demanding a trade?

Demanding a trade. As said before, hornets have less leverage and he's healthy. Not even a choice.
