    A) Knicks Organization failing with Lin.
    B) Knicks fans still believe that they are getting CP3 next year, and still retaining Melo, STAT, and Chandler.

More on Mayo to the Mavs.

I guess Mayo wasn't persuaded by the orange carpet.

"The Nuggets*are considering using their amnesty provision on forward Chris Andersen, tweets Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times. Andersen has two years and $9MM left on his deal."

Does anyone else like what the Mavs are doing? I mean I still hate them, but I'm surprised they were able to put together a descent roster.

Mavs trying to make the playoffs for the 13th straight season and still have flexibility for the next FA crop. Hate em too.

Hate the Mavs, but they've done a decent enough job of getting younger in Mayo and Collison, but staying in the playoff race with Kaman and Brand. Not Derron, but not an awful backup plan.

Wow, I wonder if that is accurate. The rumor was that he was looking for $24 million over 3 years (not 2).

    Looks like it's accurate.

Power forward Kris Humphries agreed to a two-year, $24 million contract to return to the Brooklyn Nets, a source close to the situation told ESPN.com's Marc Stein.

Playing on a one-year, $8 million contract last season, the 27-year-old averaged career-highs of 13.8 points and 11.0 rebounds per game.

The eight-year veteran, drafted with the 14th overall pick by the Utah Jazz in the 2004 draft, has career averages of 6.7 points and 5.5 rebounds.
