It's cool if it works for teams like the Heat because we all know it was about those three from the moment they held that big introduction. If Chalmers, Battier, etc. don't have a problem being excluded, oh well! But even though he did well in the post season, Westbrook hurt the Thunder on more occasions from his 'me first' attitude that sparks at the wrong moments.

For that, I appreciate the candor of Durant although I wish sometimes that he'd get a bit more fired up, even when he's taking over a game to pull his team to a win. The same can be said for the Spurs. You never hear much about them and yet the continue to be in the post season year after year like the NFL Patriots of the NBA.

I look for something similar to that for our team. I don't see Monty putting up with guy's that have these type of attitudes simply because it is not the system that either he or Demps has come from. We didn't have it during our run with Paul, West, Chandler, etc. that team played for the team. Which is why I am glad that this new crop is the start of something great!
i dont see allen as a fit for the heat, except for the fact it would weaken their main comp in boston

Battier is aging and Mike Miller may not return next year due to injury. We'll have to see what role players they surround the Big 3 with.

    Your source?

"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."

NYPost_Berman Source repeats $36M offer to Steve Nash is "untrue.'' Won't say what offer was. Raptors may want the $36M number out there.

You don't see a guy that would make teams stay honest while lebron and wade drives as a good fit?

Why would anyone want Johnson? Even Atlanta has finally realized their awful mistake.

No way they could afford all those contracts.

Rockets have reached agreement with Omer Asik on a three-year, $25.1 million contract, league source tells Y! Sports.

Horrible contract for Asik. He is nothing more than a backup, and they significantly overpaid. The desperation is tangible.

Rockets are just gasping at straws at this point. Tyler Zeller would've been better than Asik

As a restricted free agent, the Bulls will have three days to match Asik offer sheet after it's signed on July 11th.

If Asik gets $8+ million and Hibbert is getting the max then McGee will probably get $10-12 million. Good Lord. Hornets will probably focus on guys like Hawes and Robin Lopez.

Lopez is my guy. He'd be a great fit here and should come relatively cheap.

Which Lopez? Are they both RFAs?

Osik can start in this league and he fills a need for them. He will give them defense and rebounding, but zero offense and is a terrible FT shooter. Still, they're paying him to be a starter instead of a backup so its not that bad of a deal.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

Robin, and yes I believe he is. That said, he's more of a defensive specialist and wouldn't come at a crazy price tag.
