The Superman was moved to San Antonio, I don't think they will ever move it back here. It's the main ride there.

The company that was suppose to turn it into a "outlet Mall," dropped that plan and started a WHOLE new proposal for the WTC by the riverfront. And the city is still just holding on to the property and suppose to be "in discussion" with that group. The Jazzland group is just sitting back waiting in their moment as they are prepared.

When will the city admit the current group doesnt have a plan and open up bids again or just start negotiating with the jazzland group

I know this is not related to jazzland but just read on facebook that houston(well north of houston) is opening an amuesment park to take the place of what astroworld had. 600 acres was purchased to build the park. The manager was formely the manager of astroworld. SO maybe this helps get a pakr back here hopefully it does not hurt the chances.

Has anyone gone in for photo ops? A friend of mine is a professional photog and we've discussed bringing some models out there for a shoot, but not sure how much of a hassle it is or could become.

I was viewing the information like 3 times ago and seen that they strategy on creating a store shopping center. After all these decades, I realized they was awaiting a customer to come upon to buy and reopen the PARK! Not no awful mall!
